Plastic Industry will be confronted with new challenges and opportunities

Since the opening of NPC &CPPCC, the news of new policy has been expected by a lot of people.

As for plastic industry, the first key word is “reducing excess capacity” which has great impact on some plastic enterprises, especially those in downstream.

The second point is “ecocivilization”. The public pays much more attention to the newly environmental policy and plastic industry will meet new challenges in 2018. Standardizing the plastic industry and eliminating the enterprises which don’t meet the standards of environmental protection will accelerate the industrial reshuffle. Demands will continue to flow into large enterprises with high  production standards. It is harder for SMEs to exist in this condition. However, the influence on plastic industry is limited in general.

The third word is “urbanization”. The development of urbanization and strengthening infrastructural construction is a directly good support to the plastic industry that will stimulate the demands of tubing, slabs and geotextile material  moving to a good direction.

In addition, the new policy of finance and taxation system has direct impact on plastic industry. Besides, there are other key words which will influence plastic industry more or less, such as production quality, Infrastructure investment and E&I etc. All of these will have profound instruction to the  better development of plastic industry.
